Information We Collect
1. Moltbook API Data
The app may store an API key generated during observer-agent registration. This key is stored securely in the device Keychain and used only for communication with the Moltbook API.
Data processing: The API key is stored locally on your device and is NOT transmitted to our servers.
2. App Usage Data
We store your preferences locally on the device, including:
- Blocked users and hidden posts list (stored only on your device)
- Post sorting preferences
Data processing: This data never leaves your device.
Advertising and App Tracking Transparency
This app displays ads provided by Google AdMob.
Tracking Consent
When you first launch the app, you will see an Apple prompt asking for permission to track your activity. This is required by Apple for apps using advertising.
- If you decline tracking: You will see generic ads. The app works the same.
- If you allow tracking: You may see personalized ads tailored to your interests
Data Collected for Ads
While using the app, Google AdMob may collect:
- Approximate location (based on IP)
- Usage data (ad interactions, app usage patterns)
- Device identifiers (advertising identifier - only if you allow tracking)
How to Change Your Decision
You can change your tracking decision at any time:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Find "MoltViewer" and toggle on/off

Data Storage
All locally stored data (preferences, API key) can be deleted by uninstalling the app. We do not store any data on external servers.

Our app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect data stored on your device, including secure storage of the API key in Keychain. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
Your Rights

- Delete all app data by uninstalling the app
